Editorial and source policy

Sources

I cite the primary source wherever one exists: the regulator, the legislation, the platform's own help pages, or the supplier's own website. I do not rely on roundups for facts about a named supplier.

Supplier information

Prices, features and contract terms for a named supplier come only from that supplier's own published pages, with the date I checked them. Where a supplier does not publish something, the page says Not publicly stated. Suppliers are listed alphabetically or by published criteria, never ranked, and I do not describe anything here as an independent review.

Figures and calculators

Calculators use the numbers you enter and show the equation behind each result. Any example figures are labelled as illustrations, not benchmarks. Nothing here is a forecast or a promised return.

Dates

Every guide shows when it was published and when I last reviewed it. A review date changes only when I have rechecked the page against its sources.

Scope

This is a business resource for practice teams. It does not give clinical advice. Where a page touches law, tax, privacy or NHS contracts, it names the jurisdiction and points to the authority, and you should take professional advice before acting.
